hello everyone. i am discovered this sight and thought it can help me. like most people who are reading this, i have a big problem with alcohol. i been like this for about 2.5 years now after losing a job. i landed a new job shortly after losing mine, and what used to relax me, now has become an addiction. it is messing up my family and i am totally ashamed. i started going to AA but i felt uncomfortable in it, i do not know why. but i do realize i am a alcoholic and i do need help. i would love to her from some people who stopped their addiction and what made them successful. i would like to look up to those who have much like a role model. thank you very much

Outside SR, there's many different approaches and methods of recovery around - even more than AA.
