All this says to me is that you've still got some work to do and that with this experience under your belt, you'll be better equipped to get this thing figured out.

I really connected with AVRT. Given your comments about the "real you" and "the wee voice" that told you to drink...I think you'd have no problem connecting with it too.

Good luck to ya!

Well that 1 day turned into 4. Guess a lot of you know that feeling. Vomited after the first drink of cider but never stopped me drinking. Lying here at 6 am wondering if i am gonna have to wake the street by calling the ambulance. Chest pains, sore liver area, severe anxiety, sweating, dizzy, blood feels like acid, sleep impossible, must've tore my throat being sick, pins and needles, that awful neverending impending doom, constant vomiting.

Sorry for the rant just hoping this can help when i read it back. I am utterly embarrassed posting this please indulge me though.

Do what ever you need to do. Just over 6 months sober now myself, one day at a time. But I could not have done it alone. No way.

There is help out there, its just a case of deciding that you need it and accepting that you cannot beat this thing on your own. Took me a long while to accept that but once I did, then things started getting better.

And remember that you only need to be sober for a single day. Thats it.

I think getting yourself checked out medically is a great idea.
Make the madness stop today.

Neverending impending doom!! Spoke like a TRUE poet.
Aye mate you can beat this man. Reach out and you'll not need to make yourself feel like this again.
Peace
