I have been doing a lot of clean up this week. I had my second intense hearing evaluation for my license & began the process of getting custody of my son. Things I should of done many years ago but was too high/drunk to get anything done. I'm learning that the world didn't stop spinning when I was drinking & it's still spinning now that I'm sober. I've been sober for 14 months minus 1 day but believe my life is moving forward. Of course, it's not as fast as I would like but it's moving.

Thanks everyone. I use to think that if I just went to a meeting every day & not pick up a drink my life would magically get better. The truth is I have had to take action to resolve past consequences.
