Sounds like in the long run this will be a good thing. A good reminder of what you do not like about drinking, I think it will help you going forward to remember this experience. You can do it!

Si Sobertime1, thanks for sharing that event, it is a story that gets posted often here. I know I can't drink, but I thought I could for some reason and I did, but now I know for sure that I can't drink.

So here is the $64,000 question. I think you know that someday soon, you will get the same idea in your head, that you aren't that bad, that you really can have just a drink or two. What has changed for you in your mind, that you know you won't drink again? What are you doing, or going to do, differently this next time?

Yeah, I have yet to read a post by someone who went back out and said how great it was.

Congrats on coming back!

Welcome back....

Why not write down ..with pen and paper..how crappy
you felt after this test?

Next time you want to break your sober time..read it
perhaps it wil deter you from this type of thinking.

I did that in early sobriety and it did help me keep on track..

Hope this will be your time for a healthy sober future
