Hang in there. You don't have to be perfect. NONE of us are. I went to my first AA meeting (very recently) alone. It was strange, I will admit. I'm just glad I finally did it(one...two three...JUMP...LOL) Not sure when I will go again, but baby steps is how I am working on it. Even though I was uncomfortable, I still keep an open mind, and plan to keep working...at whatever it takes. I'm not even two days sober, but for every one day I have, I feel like I am moving forward. Don't even look at the date I joined this forum. It's a work in progress for me, for sure.
