2 Years today

I didn't think I would make it, but I did.

Moved house 5 times,
Got fired for the first time in my life,
Legal battle with employer. (I whooped their butts)
New relationship,
Bad relationship,
Broken relationship!
Family problems,
Friend problems,
AA problems.
No drink, no matter what, even if your arse falls off, as they say here.

You all have been very good to me.
I have to say,

I really must work on that going to bed early thing.
Thanks everyone, and for anyone struggling,
Keep it simple, one day at a time.

Just don't drink, one day at a time.
Give yourself a chance to get on top of this thing called life.
It's so much easier to navigate the ups and downs when your not drunk, hungover or obsessing about the next drink.

Be bored, but don't be drunk.
Half the emotions, panic, fear and regret are because of the drink/drugs.
Remember that.

Haven't heard that expression in awhile. Here, they say, even if you arse falls off, pick it up and bring it to a meeting with you. Just don't drink
