Last night I decided to go to a family Halloween party because my one cousin doesn't drink and said he'd stick with me and make sure I didn't. Well, I had a great sober time and for the first time in a long time appreciated the sober high of life. It feels great to be able to remember the party and actually be able to function like a normal human being the next day.

It hasn't been long but I can already feel how great this decision to stop drinking truly is. Maybe not so wild and crazy but much more meaningful, quality times. Not to mention having control of your life without the burden of alcohol and it's short comings has relieved so much stress and worry.
