It could just be that you've just got a headache, which could be due to too much caffeine and/or not enough water; or it could be delayed mild withdrawals. At seven days I had the odd headache, and tummy upset. It soon passed.
Congratulations on your week's sobriety!

I always thought while I was drinking my headaches were from hangovers. Because the first beer they would start to go away. But when I stopped drinking,my headaches never went away. Until I went to a chiropractor for neck problems. I didn't really think a chiropractor would have any relief for headaches,I was there for my neck, but I'm cured.
You might give one a try.

Your body requires healing from the abuse it endured. Maybe it's giving you a payback. I'm just kidding ;-)

I think I dismiss a lot of health issues blaming it on alcohol, when it really might be something else...or I just don't want to admit it. HONESTY with you dr is the best IMO

OH gosh, in the first 4 - 5 weeks of sobriety, I would get this odd hangover type headache for 2 - 3 days. I was like WTHeck! I thought allergies, but something told me it was somehow related to my sobriety. I haven't had one in 2 weeks and think they may be gone for good.

Good luck. Stay strong - they will subside. If not, go see the doc!

My BEST!

I tend to drink more coffee, sugar, and crap snacks with MSG and salt, those make me feel slightly hangoverish. But after relapsing, I will tell you, the memory fade, cause that is WAY worse.

I take Tylenol a lot these days.

OK here I gooooooooo. I feel on top of the world 2 weeks no booze Ive been here so many times and got caught out - my mood then goes bump after the feeling of exhillaration - I need to watch out. Booze seems to suppress my mood and interlect ! I know its not good but I dont then get these massive mood swings. I need to focus
