Just checking in, and I really don't have anything to type about other than I am just living sober. I've found that I went through some stages. First stage, ashamed and afraid of the label "Alcoholic" Second stage, I am an alcoholic, and I'm doing something about it! Third stage, pretty much only talking about my alcoholism at my meetings and with my sponsor. New stage, Thinking about my day, my kids, my wife, my job etc and not having one profound thought about my alcoholism, just living with it and not drinking.. Life does get better, I hope we can all find it...
