please say a prayer...

My wife accidentally backed over our cat tonight and killed it. She is very upset and the kids are very sad. Just a really sad accident.

((HeavyJ)) - I'm so sorry, many prayers heading your way. I have to often chase my cats off as they like to lay smack in the middle of the driveway. Running over them is my greatest fear, and I know who heartbreaking it is.

Oh, I am SO sorry that happened! It is so easy to do and will be an even bigger problem as winter sets in. Cats love to go under cars and when it's cold, they are prone to crawling up into the engine compartment to get warmth.

Just this morning as I was leaving for work, there was a kitten under my car. I had to chase it out from under there, but I was thankful that I saw it before I backed out of the driveway.

I'm so sorry. Prayers up for your family. May your wife be able to accept it wasn't her fault, just a terrible accident.

What a tragedy, HeavyJ. We keep two of those furbag mousecatchers here, and there would be great sadness and remorse at our place if that happened here. I am sorry to hear about your loss.
