On a Sober Friday Night I will...
On a sober Friday night I will: have a good dinner (maybe BBQ) and snuggle with my pets while watching a really fun movie. Maybe, read a good book for a bit, then I will have a wonderful nights sleep!

Folding at least 5 loads of laundry since we had a water "oopsie" in the house yesterday and all the clothes in the laundry room got soaked & needed to be rewashed.
Sounds like fun, right? Anyone wanna come do the laundry for me? :p

Friday's have always traditionally been the hardest day for me. Just want to have a nice peaceful sober weekend. It's a fight for me as this will be my first weekend sober.
Any suggestions other than A.A. which im going to attend?

Sometimes a few from the AA group go for coffee and talk after, that could be an option. I am sort of a loner and this is not always helpful, others really like it. A movie is an option, the bookstore, the gym, play a video game or just browse SR. Try making a list of things you enjoy doing that you couldn't do when you were using/ drinking. Takes time for us to remember sometimes. Take care of yourself.

It's early afternoon here, but we are going to my daughters Chili Band Supper, picking up my boyfriends kids, and going to local High School Homecoming Football game! Wonderful evening with family!!
On a sober Friday Night I will watch a DVD I just got, have a nice dinner and maybe do a little yoga. But most of all I will be grateful that I am not harming my body and mind by drinking enormous amounts of alcohol.

On this sober Friday night I will go get a mani/pedi, window shop at the mall, meet non-drinking friends for dinner then curl up with a good book before bed and be glad to wake-up sober and hangover free tomorrow morning
I will make a nice ham dinner, watch ghost adventures later, and just be grateful I am not a slave to the oxycodone anymore. It is nice to be free and not have to worry about going through withdrawals and feeling sick.
