Day 1
Today is the day that I'm putting it out into the universe...I'm done. I've made promises to myself and my spouse in the past, but I'm on the verge of losing everything if I don't get control.
I'm a lightweight drunk due to gastric bypass surgery, so I'm not worried about quitting cold turkey. Although, it took all that I had to drive past the liquor store without picking up a bottle of wine on my way home tonight. It closes in ten minutes, so I'm going to make it for today. That's the plan for tomorrow, too.
I'm calling the doctor tomorrow make an appointment to talk about getting tests to see if I'm medically compromised from my behavior for the past two years and to see about getting treatment for the depression that started me down this road.
