Phew......I Never in a million years thought I could make it through two weeks, let alone a month! Other than my ridiculous sugar cravings.....which is crazy because I never even was into sweets.....everything is going amazing. This may sounds weird, but when I look at my children I feel like I'm looking at them with a whole new set of eyes. My relationship with my husband is much better, my house is cleaner than its ever been, and I find myself appreciating the little things in life again. Looking forward to the next milestone!
congrats on your 30 days! That's great.
The sugar cravings are normal. You're not taking in all the alcoholic sugar anymore. They eventually fade once your body gets back to normal. When I was first getting sober, I'd eat a whole angel food cake in one sitting. Figured it was better than downing a few bottles of wine.

It/s normal to crave sugar when you stop drinking. Lots of sugar in alcohol. Congratulations.
