can't wait to wake up tomorrow

I will be rising to my 2 week mark. It doesn't seem like a lot, but I am enjoying the journey so much this time. I don't want to get comfortable, but I also just want to enjoy each day.

My parents stayed at my house this weekend. I didn't drink at all. They didn't notice. I was surprised. I didn't tell them I quit. I am worried that I didn't tell them so I don't have to hear anything if I start back up.

I am strong in my sobriety, but am curious why I never mentioned it. I am also so surprised they didn't notice I didn't drink. We ate out twice and watched a movie Saturday night. Usually I am drinking the entire time they are here.

Hmmm. I also went out with my 19 year old niece on Friday. I ordered diet Pepsi. She didn't say anything - so, so, so rare for me to order anything but chardonnay. Hmmmm.

Maybe I wasn't such a blatant drunk after all. NOT! LOL. I know who I was and I know who I am.

One day at a time and EASY DOES IT!

They probably noticed but didn't want to bring you uncomfortable attention, I've seen this happen first hand. Important thing was you noticed your change and feel better for it.

when I wake tomorrow - 3 weeks sober :-) Heee. hhee. I feel great. The only drinking thoughts I have all seem to be more out of a sense of habit verses any desire or want. And I quickly address those thoughts for the AV they are!

I still have quite a bit of fatigue that I was hoping would go away sooner, but I have to remind myself this is a marathon, not a sprint.
