Day 5 and feeling better

Day 5 of being dry and I'm finally feeling good! Spent the day doing yard work and went for a ride on the bike! Although I am 'buzzed' on coffee and sweets tonight..

Great job!! Keep it up. I, too, am drinking a lot of coffee... Hmmm.. I wonder if caffeine is just filling that void? Either way, I'm sober and happy today!

I've found over the years of going through this that coffee helps me a lot! I've Googled it and have found a lot of people replace alcohol with coffee. I'm happy for you too!

Glad to hear you're feeling better. I wanted to write something on your other thread but didn't know what to say. Caffeine and sweets do seem to be common alcohol substitutes, I've gone for the caffeine myself.

Incidentally, motorcycle riding is something I've always wanted to try though never got around to.

Once you ride once you'll be hooked. Start out on something cheap and small and see how you like it!
