Maybe its a good thing. A year into sobriety I went to AA for the first time. I had simliar feelings. I thought how did my life end up here? But it didnt get me down and I quickly realized maybe its a good thing i was there. Now i'm thankful i'm there. I got panic attacks what drove me to quit they where horrible. But i'm so thankful for them because they got me to quit. I'm almost glad i got them.
Try to look on the bright side of your wake up call it'll help you moving forward.
Aint nothing wrong with them wakeup calls either especially when they are just what you needed.

A trip to the emergency room was just what I needed to snap me out of a 30-year drinking career. I made that my "Day 1" and now over 3 years later, I'm sober and loving it! I wish you well.

Yep, alcohol can and probably will kill—unless we reverse course. I count myself very lucky to have recognized that simple truth in time.

I hope you start feeling better soon. Please don't mistake feeling better for a green light to start heading back down that road.

Dawnie, that sounds a really scary time for you. I'm pleased you're home now x.
How about calling somebody today that can help you? I don't like to think of you spending any longer in this state, it's dangerous.
Call a helpline. Call AA. They will understand and help. Please don't drink today xxx
