Where alcohol abuse you can go with out drinking and not feel sick but it becomes habit.

Also most alcohol abuse you may always get really drunk really hard but you can go days with out drinking and get no withdrawal symptoms and people who have alcoholism cannot.
I've not found any of that to be true. I know full-blown hard-core alkies who drank one day at a time maybe 5-7 times per year. They put it aside for long periods and didn't have any adverse side effects.....

Alcoholic drinking may be habitual, but alcoholism has little to do with the amount you drink, how often or the frequency.

I will never consider myself a alcoholic, I just developed a drinking problem. I would drink 2-3 beers every night to relax and more on the weekends because of GameDay etc.

It just became a habit to drink a few at night to relax. I wasn't walking around drinking for breakfast etc. I quit on my own at the end of May because I realized my habit might lead to long term health problems.

So yes, there is a difference to me.
