I. Want a better life for me and my family, I really wanna prove everyone wrong that I can do this.
Today is gonna be hard coz I been paid but I already have plans on what im doin and im sticking to it

My mother drinks to help her sleep I wish she would get help coz I dont wanna lose her either

I hope you reach out for help today Dawnie-it will only get worse if you don't as it's progressive.If you keep drinking, especially if it makes you violent, it will just give SS more reason for them to be concerned about your kids. don't give them ammunition.good luck.x

I will be ringing the docs soon when it opens see if they will let me see gp today plus my son got his boosters today so will see if they have appointment same time as him

Dawnie,

I got to the point of hitting my BF as well, something I thought I would never do. I am glad you are getting help and making calls. I agree with these fine people that you need professional help. Inpatient, and sober living after that. You don't ever want to progress to the point of hitting your kids, and with drinking it could happen. You just need to be willing to do whatever it takes, and it seems like you are. Your life can be a wonderful one, and you can be proud of being a good mother to your precious children. It is up to you.
