I blew it
I have no idea what that is MetalChick but sorry to hear it.
Pick yourself up, dust yourself off and get back on track. It's just a minor set back right?
What kind of recovery method were you using? Is there some stuff you can re visit to help you get back to where you were? x

If it was part of your sobriety plan to quit Dex also, then I guess you blew it. Is Dex a problem in your life though? I only used stimulants so that I could drink more without getting too drunk or passing out. I was never really addicted to them.

Yeah maybe you are trading drugs. You don't want to do that. But if you are a true alcoholic, no drug will be able to replace the feeling you get from alcohol. That's the one we are hopelessly addicted to. I always felt the danger of drugs was exaggerated. Alcohol is way more dangerous. It's more addictive.
I know next to nothing about DXM apart from what I read here on SR, but I know it was always very dangerous for me to dabble in any addictive substance.
You made a mistake, there are obvious lessons to learn MC - but try not to dwell on it too much.
maybe later when you feel up to it, you can think about what else you can do to make sure you stay on the right side of the recovery road, but for now try to take good care of yourself

MetalChick-
We've all messed up far too many times before getting sober.
Are you ready to do whatever it takes to get and stay sober ? This will also mean stop hanging out with people that make magic powders you referred to in your posts above.
This forum is great for support, I always came back after f*cking up... Used it as a crutch, but had to get into AA to get sober for good.......
Best of luck.

Don't feel too bad, this is tough and we all know it. The fact that you recognize where you are and where you want to be is the most important. I still have my struggles but I still have a main goal of sobriety and I plan to keep trying. The best we can do is keep on keeping on.
