New direction
I have gone from meeting to meeting...program crossing....Doctor to Doctor and today a .50 book from a thrift store gave me more hope than I have ever had in my life. I have spent money on every self help book I could get my hands on. Yet, I always go back to having a drink.....or 50
As I said a book from a thrift store blew me away today. I have read it almost 2 times today (its 183 pages) It is Billy Grahams “How To Be Born Again”. The very first chapter rang my bells “Why Am I So Empty” ...Inside the book jacket was a note from the woman who owned this book at one point. It has her name (in red ink) , the year 1980 and a note that says “you will grow”.
I have her name and now I have to find her. Besides Facebook ...how should I find her?

I have no idea how to find people...sometimes people may not want to be found too....and it was 32 years ago....

I'd consider it was meant to be for you to reead amd let the
idea go of tracking her down....

Well its just a really cool book. Its written very simply. She wrote her name in it. Something drover her to buy and write notes all through it. I just really wonder what she was going through to bring her to buy the book. But you are right. I shouldnt bother her. I like talking to you guys before doing anything rash. I cant just read a good book and learn from it...oh no! I have to go on a wild goose chase to find the original owner of the book.

That book would signal to me, that God is working in my life. He works in mysterious ways, and one of the ways he works in my life is through books. Congratulations for turning back to your Higher Power! Don't turn away!
