no more shame!
One thing that has improved so far being sober is that I don't have to worry about hiding numerous empty bottles!
I don't wake up hating myself with shame/guilt/embarassment
I used to have to find a window of time where there was no one in the house then sneak out to the store for booze-drink it before they got back home- then get caught and get screamed at by my mother for being a lying, cheating alcoholic.

Living honestly feels pretty great, huh? I was never a hider, as I preferred my husband knowing just how much I sucked. :-)
Glad that you are shame-free. Some pretty awesome feelings will take the place of shame!
