Sober five and a half years thanks to naltrexone, SMART Recovery, and other stuff.
I developed a personal recovery program designed to suit my own needs. This has worked well for me for over five and a half years.

THIS is so important! that we find or create a program that works for us and that we can work. Because no program is any good to us if we can't stick with it.
Five years is awesome!
Doing what it takes is what keeps us clean. The more methods and options we share here, the more tools we are offering one another!
I can't afford to be a snob or purist in my recovery. I have to be honest, open minded and willing to do whatever it takes, and sometimes it takes more than one program, therapy, etc.
