If I can taste it then I won't eat it. Really though, it would be insane to try and check every meal for the possibility of alcohol being used. You'd have to swear off Italian food forever.

I have NEVER felt any alcoholic affect from food made with alcohol. Nor can I taste it. It has never made me want to drink alcohol. Therefore, I fail to see a problem. Uusally, unless I saw the food being prepared, I have no idea there was alcohol in it.
