Three months, Whoop Whoop to you...
that's when sobriety started getting much easier and more gratifying for me.
Best wishes.

Ah, thanks so much, all! What a great thread to wake up to, you've put a big ole grin on my face. Okay, granted, there is a big ole grin on my face most of the time - it's kind of my default position, but this one's shiny!

Am celebrating my sobriety by treating myself to a tough run on the pebbles. Score! Only, score points, not drugs.

Go to You Tube and take a look at Don C. on 4 Seasons of Recovery. It's very enlightening! There is a cycle of change that takes place. It also makes sense now as to why people often go back out drinking by 5 years, 10, 15, or even at 20.

stillsleeping, you are really still in the Spring cycle of recovery!

Great work stillsleeping.

It really is an amazing feeling. i cannot believe I thought sobriety would be a chore. I would not swap this new life for anything.

Keep going, you are doing a fantastic job.
