Not quite there yet.
But I'm coming up on a year. Have changed careers. Dating. Lost 45 pounds. Blood pressure in control. Resting pulse has gone from 95 to 72 bpm. Sleeping with almost no reliance on sleep meds, this time last year I was taking a fistful.
I don't much concentrate on how horrible my life was when I drank. That kept me on the wagon for the first 90 days or so. No I think how better life is when sober.
