Anyone else honoring the four agreements in their recovery?

The Four Agreements are great allys for me as I work my 12 steps. When I get stuck on a step, I pull out my four agreements and poof I move forward. Also the Four Agreements are amazing in enhancing the fellowship life in AA. When the witching hours come up, the Four Agreements are strong medicine in saying no to a drink. I dont assume, I am the voice in the mind, that is asking for a drink. I dont take that voice personaly.

Four Agreements
1) Be impeccable with your word
2) Dont take anything personaly
3) Dont make assumptions
4) Always do your best.

1. No.
2. No
3. No
4. No.

But I'm growing up. Progress, not perfection.

I'd like to respond to this very interesting post, but I would have to show my ignorance. The four agreements are new to me, but look like a sound approach.

the one I am focused on at this moment is "not take anything personal"

hundreds and hundreds of meetings, thousands of alcoholics heard, and this is the 1st time i recall ever hering about the 4 agreements. i've read and studied the BB a lot, too and dont recall ever seeing them in there. but it is something to ponder. i didnt really know the definition of impeccable.
Definition of IMPECCABLE

: not capable of sinning or liable to sin

The Four Agreements is a book by Miguel Ruiz, and it's a wonderful addition to recovery. I include these 4 in my prayer every morning and work, quite imperfectly, toward living them. Great thread, thanks for sharing!!
