I’ve been there myself Enpointe, so I know firsthand how awkward that experience truly feels. I did arrive at an “AA” meeting drunk (once), which made me feel ‘less than’ I might add. This incident ‘could’ have escalated to heights unknown –embarrassing as it was, or at least branded me as an ‘outcast’ somehow, but much to my delight it evolved differently instead. It became the necessary spark that would ultimately ignite my sober engines for the very first time. It also proved invaluable for me as I began to wash away the tears of a life plagued by active alcoholism. I never felt like an outcast at that specific meeting an either should you here on “SR”. It’s a prelude to what comes next, and for alcoholics like us it means acceptance - accepting of our condition and our alcoholism. You just did, so welcome…

I'm glad you are checking with your doctor...please be honest about the ammount you drink
. De toxing from alcohol is risky ...and a medical supervised plan is wise.
