Pleased to meet you, Anthony! (You also, carey) I once drank like you. I didn't drink every day, but when I did - unpredictable & dangerous things happened. Eventually, I discovered the 'hair of the dog' cure for hangovers & became an every day drinker. (No need to feel awful when you can get numb & stay that way - that was my reasoning at the time 
)
After a few years of drinking every day, I was completely dependent on it. I never dreamed that could happen to me. When I found SR I was so relieved to see I wasn't alone. There were many drinkers just like me. I was comforted, encouraged, and filled with hope. We're glad you are here with us - thank you for letting us share your journey to sobriety.
