... So why am I smiling, you say? Well... it's because I was SOBER at the time. It was an honest mistake, and not one fueled by alcoholic negligence. The husband was cracking jokes about it, and generally being reassuring, saying we'd go get another today; if I had been drinking, it would NOT have been that same scenario.

Thank you God for my sobriety. Even in the simple things You uncomplicate my life and make it more manageable.

I have no hair on my head. Bald men bang their heads...a lot. And it always shows up really nicely with nothing to cover it.

When I was sober about 3 months, I conked my noggin but good, working in the basement. Left about a 2 inch scrape with blood and everything. My lovely bride's words of consolation were, "Jesus, Charlie! Everybody's going to think you were sh*t-faced again!"

Ah well.

it wasn't a smart phone by any means actually you could probably call it a dumb phone, but I dropped mine in an airplane toilet once, I was a little drunk, but pulled out the battery right away and let it dry and it still works.
