Hey everyone..
I woke up a little while ago with night sweats for the first time ever, and don't want to get back to sleep right now. It's been over 2 days without alcohol and I have no plans to start drinking again. I don't think I can compare to some of you, but I was slowly becoming an alcoholic. I'm 20 years old and I drank to get drunk every day for the last 3 months, between 5-6 cans to 10+. Before those 3 months I was sick and had stopped for like a week, and before that I was drinking pretty much everyday. I would drink before going out, before doing anything, etc, and I can't do it anymore. If I don't drink I think clearer, I don't hurt my body, I can lose my beer gut, I can keep my ***** hard, and I have a girlfriend who supports me stopping. So far I've been fine, just some anxiety, nausea, and now night sweats? How long should this last?

Sometime

I stopped very recently too (13 days ago) and the night sweats was only 1 or 2 nights for me after drinking everyday for 10 years.

Thanks for the responses! And congratulations Sometime! Good to hear, I was worrying that it would last a few weeks or so. Anyways, if I can tough out the next few days I should be fine

For me by the 4th night I was done.

Mine used to last about a week - the worst on days 2-3. Hope you feel better soon.
