Day 5 and some relief

So I made it to day 5 and most of the physical withdrawal symptoms are gone for now and I'm actually starting to feel much better. It was rough going there for a while and I know I'm not out of the woods but I'm thankful for days like today where I wake up sober and feeling good.

newday,
Hang in there, it gets better as time goes on. It took me a couple weeks before my head cleared enough to concentrate at any functional level. Keep posting and congratulations, glad you are here.

I hope so. I know I struggled last time but I am hoping with the right amount of change and support I will make it through this time. The beginning is hard and I think I forgot just how hard it is. The challenges remain to stay sober but become slightly different the longer the time goes on. I just think it's crazy that addiction is like fighting with yourself. I'm hoping the cravings get better.
