Heard the same. That's terrible if true. I've always liked her music and was hoping she'd pull through all the BS she went through.

In a statement, her publicist, Nancy Seltzer, said, "I've just spoken to Whitney. She is perfectly fine and does not understand why, with everything going on in the world right now, they have to find new rumors to start. From ABC news.

R.I.P Whitney
She was very open with her struggles with addiction. How sad that she is gone now

I was wrong about that. Fox news says that she died at the Beverly Hilton hotel in LA. it is on tv now. Fox News.

You have to be careful trusting articles online, always check the date on it and consider the source.

this is very sad though.

I've been busy with school work and just heard. My stepmom told me and I asked "was it an OD" and she said "that's what they're saying but they don't know".

I don't know what caused her death, but I am familiar with her struggle with drugs. The drugs that caused Michael Jackson's death? I did them..all at once and more. What Whitney abused? Did all that, too.

I don't know why I'm still here and they aren't. My heart hurts because addiction kills. Even if that wasn't the cause of her death, I've no doubt the abuse damaged her body.

It could have been me. It should have been me, but HP apparently thought otherwise. One more reason to be grateful for recovery.

RIP, ((Whitney)).

Hugs and prayers,

Amy

I saw her on E! news the other day (I'm quite the intellectual) and she didn't look good - she totally walked right into a live iterview with Clyve Davis and 2 other people. Everyone seemed really confused and she didn't seem to have any clue that an interview was going on. She was trying to introduce Clyve to her daughter or something, and I remember thinking that her daughter really shouldn't be with her in that condition. For some reason, the bottom half of Whitney's hair was dripping wet. It looked bizarre.

The news made me feel sad. She just has seemed so lost. She went from so many extremes in her sobriety and active addiction.
