solo, you will go through the same drying-out process that we all went through. You can do it. Are you going to meetings in your hometown?

I went through withdrawal more times than I can count.
You can make this your last time. Many of us here have. The mental cravings are normal, just don't act on them. Think that first drink through to the end.

You can do it, and best to you.

A friend of mine said that it's easier to stay sober than to have to dry out and come back.

Sounds like you have discovered that simple truth.

Hey there! I am proud of you.. If the withdrawals get bad, go see your doctor. They can give you medicine to make the first days easier. You can do this.
