I just want to say....
I just want to say that I read alot of threads which is... people's struggles with addiction or addiction of someone they love. A Lot of times after reading some of these heart breaking post I want to leave a comment but just don't know what to say. I read a lot of the comments and I think they are wonderful!! I hope one day has I have more longevity being sober. I to can help like alot of the people I see giving support and advice on this board. I see alot of the same usernames on these post, and I think of them has being wise and experienced about sobriety. Just wanted to say thanks ...sober 13 days
Comgrats on 13 days Nel!
I can tell you that when you read a good one that from my experience I just tell them how I was inspired by or enjoyed or agree with their post. Or a simple thanks for posting, lots to think about. Some of the newbies like you inspire many of us with some sober time more than you will ever know. At least for me. Ne;l just say thanks of nothing else, and they know their cry or shout was heard, and when all is said and done, that is what this website is all about. I heard you Nel.

13 Days! Awesome! You have your experience to share with the people who are starting their sobriety! Are you using a program of recovery? I suggest you get to the newcomer thread and "cheer on" the people who have less time than yyyou, the feeling of helping another is better than any false alcohol or drug induced high I've ever had!
Stay stopped and keep moving forward!

Congrats on the 13 days :-)!! I also want to thank everyone on this site for all the inspriration and positive thoughts. I've been reading or lurking on here for a while and it's one of the things that got me into detox. It's really nice to be able to vent or talk to people who have more of an understanding of what you are going through. Day 4 out of detox :-)

nel, that's the way the program works. I can't fix me but I can help you. You fix me !
The first time I heard this expression, it smacked me between the eyes.
"Take my advice, I'm not using it."
You will be posting with confidence soon, all the best in your road to recovery.

I feel very happy when I see/read people's testimonials and comments that they are able to get through their previous selves and change in a better more clear path in life.
