i was sober for 9 months then relapsed and got another dui. got fired. a case of beer a day sincet

What # DUI is it? Do you have a lawyer? What do they think?

this will be 2. yea my friend is my lawyer.

I've never had any DUI's but my son got 2 and never served a day in jail (didn't have to go to a program either)....... Every state is different, I guess.

Nice to have a friend who's a lawyer, though!

yea he s a good guy. his dad is one of us. nice to know about jail. i think it may be time for rehab for me

I think if you're willing to go to treatment of some kind, it could help your case (again, though, I'm just going by what others have said). We all get wake-up calls, and even though it doesn't seem like it right now, it could be worse.

You're going to have a rough time sleeping, but try not to overwhelm yourself. You can get through this. You can even make this the beginning of a better life.......

I'll say some prayers for you tonight and tomorrow....

Good for you...... Remember that alcohol causes a lot of the depression and anxiety we feel. You'll feel stronger and more positive once you get it out of your system. I never thought I'd get my life straightened out, but on my 3rd attempt, I feel like I finally got it, and things are really good with me now.

I have to go, but I just want you to know that I care and the people here care, too. We know what it's like to feel stuck and ashamed. Alcohol messes things up for sure, but that doesn't mean we're bad or hopeless. You can turn it around, too.

I'll be thinking about you tomorrow. Hugs.....
