1st sober Christmas

I have made it through the day sober, not 1 drink on X mas!

I have to say when you are sober the family conversation really seems more boring...but all in all a good day.

Thanks guys and hope you are all having a great Christmas!

I remember one Boxing Day puking up on the carpet and one New Years Eve I blacked out.... never again.

Congratulations to you!!! It's true that sometimes the conversation greased by alcohol can be "lacking" when you're not partaking. Odd what we find funny and interesting once booze hits our systems! Sometimes I can sit back and just relax with the flow, but other times I have excused myself and gone home or elsewhere. I've wondered to myself if I just have a short attention span, but posts like yours remind me of what the problem more likely is.

Glad you had a good sober Christmas.

Congrats on a Sober Xmas!!!
Awesome Job!

btw - I always think that 'boredom' is really just unrecognised serenity - LOL

Bright Blessings to you!
