Just venting
Apparently, health insurance for me and my wife is going up $250/month. This is extremely depressing and it makes me want a drink. I'm not going to, but that's my mood. It's unaffordable, but life could certainly be worse, I suppose. I was just feeling good about my sobriety, too.

Will it ever go down?
Insurance, food, whatever is going up, up, up.And so is my sobriety. 1 year 5 months sober, 86 days off crack. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

No. That being said, I'm not drinking. I'm just venting about WANTING a drink. That's what's bugging me. I'm glad to be sober. At least I'll just be tired in the morning and not hung over.

Catch 22 situation. In order to stop drinking, you need medical help but the medical help is what is causing you to want to drink.
