The silly season starts tonight!
Time for the first Christmas party of the year!
I'm actually excited about the silly season this year - I'm looking forward to spending it sober. To actually be able to enjoy the company of friends and family, and to enjoy all that awesome food without hangovers, memory loss, drunken antics and shame shame shame tarnishing such a fantastic time of year.
Forever December has new meaning for me
On a practical note, I'll be sitting with my mum and sister, and positioning myself on the other side of the room from the bar (which is where the boozers tend to sit). I'll be drinking soda water and cranberry juice (even if I have to bring my own cranberry juice!) and I'll be wearing a santa hat.
