It sucks that you are drinking and that you might have lost a chance at an interview. I hate it when people tell me to grow up, and all that stuff. It doesn't seem like a normal parent would be too lazy to help their kid talk to a potential employer so if that is truly the case, that sucks. I blame a lot of my problems on others, especially when I am drinking, so I am not anyone to talk when it comes to that issue. You are probably just calling your mom lazy because she calls you lazy, big deal. Your mom probably just didn't know you were out there so close.

And, I think it's kind of messed up to bring up old posts to point out a persons problem patterns. It's better to just speak from personal experience. I think telling someone to 'grow up' is not very helpful. Most grown-ups I know are loosing their heart. Even jesus says to be like a little child.
