The article explains how many empty calories there are in booze...considering what I drank it's a miracle I don't weigh 300 lbs!

Drinking made it impossible for me to quit smoking also. Put those two together and you arent gonna live to be a 100.

Interestingly, the article doesn't mention the immense damage problem-drinking does to your brain, and nervous system. These particular effects were very pronounced in my case... Somewhere along the way, I developed a nasty panic/anxiety disorder, as well as depression. I was a very social person when I started drinking, and according to my doctor, the problems I developed were most likely a result of damage done by being a drunk. Just another reason I reflect on to keep the plug in the jug.

Good point Greg...same thing happened to me...,depression and anxiety,...gone noe and probably the main reason I quit!
