Tons of water. I found drinking water alot was what I wanted lol. I didn't have cravings for sugar items. I found when I was getting sober in my early times I was just drinking water because of all the absue I was making my body go through. I still drink lots of water today lol. Enjoy it unlike before.

Water and toobs (a very artificial junk food, sort of like potato chips). I wanted toobs every day. I also took prescribed lorazepam for a few weeks to stop me seizing.
Not fun times as I detest benzodiazepines and how depressed they make me.

Lots of food, mainly sweet things. But anything really. Lots of juice and coffee and tea, forgotton how good they are. On day 12 now. Still eating but think its slowing down, hope so. Just baked a date and walnut loaf (keeping busy mode), that won't last long

Lots of water today.
I'm on day 1 again today, and this was the first time I've eaten a real meal in over a week (been on a bender this week). Kind of crazy how alcohol can cause a person to skip eating just to get drunker. I knew it was bad when I felt weak walking around because of the lack of calories. I really can't wait to getting back to eating a normal 2,000 calories a day instead of the handful of potato chips.

Chocolate. Ice cream. And then more chocolate.
I thought I'd gain weight, but I had been drinking so much that I was really just replacing calories! I actually LOST weight.
That passed though; I eat healthy these days.

:O energy drinks aren't that good for your heart especially if your coming off alcohol :O oh wellll lol. everyone has their own craving that replaces the need for boozing. lol. I use to drink energy drinks like mad but then everytime I found when I didn't have them I had no energy and I only had it when I drank energy. Thats why I hate that commerical for 5 hour energy drinks. This guy comes downstairs half asleep and complaining about getting up and hating mornings and not having enough time for coffee. Then he smiles when he sees his stash of 5 hour drinks "Hello 5 hour!" Then he comes downstairs all dressed and ready to go to work and says "Let's do this!" So I always grumble to myself about that commerical that he relies on these energy drinks just to get through a day. Like jeez. heart failure there LOL
