I took my sobriety for granted

I have been sober 21 years and 10 1/2 months. I came very close to having a drink today. instead I went to a meeting-my first one in 17 years. I am very thankful AA was there for me. Keep coming back has a whole new meaning...

and to the people on this forum, thank you for sharing.

Oh George, I so relate! It's so easy to stop going to meetings one day at a time. I'm so glad you posted this, I'll run to a meeting tonight.
