Medication-assisted treatment
I have been on a state-sponsored treatment regimen using the drug Campral for several months. Anyone else tried this?
The drug is supposed to help with alcohol cravings, which haven't been an issue, so perhaps it is effective. I did antabuse for many years back in the 1980s, but Campral doesn't pose the dangers of that drug.
My observation is that Campral, like any other med, won't get or keep one sober...it is only a tool that helps if one works an effective recovery program.
