120 Days (4 Months)

Last drink was on June 12th 2011. Felt pretty good (ala normal) for a few weeks... now, since hitting the 120 days, feel a little irritable, discontent, but no urges to drink or anything like that. Just thought I would check-in!

Congrats! Keep it going. :)
I hope by years end I'll have 100 days sober, I'm in my 3rd week and doing\feeling much better about sobriety. Last night was pretty bad for me with self resentment and such, but like you said, it didn't make me want to drink.

Congratulations on 4 months! Im coming up to 2 months myself. Well they say it is a bit tough at first but we get through it. I've had some of my moody days but other then that every day has been great. My brother and I were walking the dogs together and chatting it up. Told him that I have been doing good so far these past 2 months and he agreed. I have no cravings whatsoever. I believe it's a train of thought when I want to drink. Once I commit to wanting to drink then I will everytime. Do I test the theory now? of course not. because I know I am powerless over it, I've tried so many times to quit and really mean it then I go and drink again. Anyway. Just wanted to say congratulations and keep remembering that at least your sober and not drunk. Im sure glad I'm staying sober because my life as drinking was a dream. I think back and it never seemed real because I was in an illusion. Congrats once again and remember do it one day at a time! :)

Congrats on 4 months!

Yeah, you're feelings...I've felt that, too. Today I have aa tools to work with. It is a new way of living life on life's terms. I'll embrace this instead of being drunk & disorderly, all alone.

My avatar tells it for now, but I'll smile in public & share the "I wanna be a normal drinker" with SR & AA friends.

That's wonderful! I think the hardest part is the first 90 days, at least it was for me.
