1 year down

Hi there,
New member here, today marks the anniversary of my new sober life. I thought I'd just like to share the news. I feel lke I've reached a point where I'm comfortable in my recovery and would like to help others, and shoot, I can always use more support myself. So here I am, looking to be part of this community. I have plenty of stories to tell, most all of them bad, I hope to provide some inspiration. I hope this doesn't sound too "hooray for me" but I am happy where I'm at.

Welcome to SR. I'm just a handful of days shy of my first year too and also very comfortable where I am. However I would change the title of your thread from "one year down", to "one year UP", cause that is exactly what it has been for me. Congrats RedSixAlpha. Looking forward to seeing more of you around. Great day everyone.

Thank you all for the warm reception. I truly appreciate it. I want to tell my story, so that others may benefit from my experiences, good and bad, but stuck with just this phone for internet for awhile, makes the forum a little frustrating to use.
