More Positive outcomes
I've posted before that in January I was hospitalized for a pulmonary embolism. Very scary stuff and they couldn't find the cause.
It turns out it was caused by long term low levels of folic acid (vitamin B1) brought on by heavy daily alcohol use (12 beers a day, every day, 15 years).
I got a CT scan yesterday and the doctor (hemotologist) told me today that everything looks really good and he doesn't see a reason that I need to make anymore follow up appointments!
My weight has stabilized and I'm getting compliments from so many people I don't see often that I look great.
It's little victories like these that remind me why I started the fight to begin with.
For those of you new to the forum - I can honestly say my obsession to drink has been lifted and my addiction has shifted to living life.
Anyone can get to this point if they have a really good, thorough, and passionate program.
-You don't HAVE to drink ever again.
