Well folks looks like I got approved. Whats funny is that they need to fingerprint me for my ID. They must have 50 or 60 sets already. Well 16 hours and counting to freedom. I might even change my picture from my mugshot to something newer.
Way to go ((((Stu)))!! Pretty funny about the fingerprints...like they don't have enough from before?
Your recovery rocks, and I'm really glad you're sharing it with others when you've been in their shoes, so to speak.
Oh, and enjoy being off house arrest!! I remember when I got off probation, was doing a trip for my dad to another state (he's an expediter) and realized I was LEGAL to go to another state without having to ask my PO first. It was like a breath of fresh air.
Hugs and prayers,
Amy

I often think our world with all the corruption in it is going to hell in a handbasket. When I read about people doing things like this though it restores my faith in humanity. Awesome that your doing this Stugotz!

Well I did my first Jail meeting last night, gotta say it felt real funny going back behind those bars. I was just waiting for them to pull me aside cause something from my past popped up. Which by the way there is a ton of stuff I never got nailed for, YET. But anyway, the meeting was great, I saw alot of the same people in there still or again from when I got out 4 years ago. Many of the Guards recognized me too. I can truly say that the best part of this program is giving back, the selflessness is a wonderful feeling. Looking forward to next week, just wanted to do a little update.

Basically it was an OD meeting. It was in the same room that I would go to when I was incarcerated for meetings. All went well, some there for help, others for a break from the pod. All in all a very humbling experience.
