blood poisoning?

So I got slaughtered and tried to ride my motorbike home, crashed and have taken the skin off my legs and arms, these seem to have gone septic even though I have kept myself very clean, kind of around the edges of the wounds it has gone a kind of purple and bright red.
I don't know why I get this feeling but I seem to be convinved I have an odor of alcohol coming from them, I know this is not possible, or I doubt it is possible, but if my system is loaded heavily constantly (my complexion is really breaking down) will this prevent me from healing?

I have no idea...but you do need immediate medical attention IMO
Infections kill people.

My health was pretty poor as an active alcoholic...I expect my immune system was too.
Please scrub - don't muck around - see a Dr.

I am with Carol and Dee on this, please seek medical attention. A qualified medical professional would be the only one who would be in a position to assess, diagnose, and treat your condition.

Nobody here is qualified to tell you how to stay healthy WHILE abusing alcohol. If you want to quit, we can help you there. And you should quit. Today. Go to the doctor and quit.
