Day 25
I can't believe I've made it 25 days without a drink. This is by far the longest I've gone since I was probably 14. The biggest change that I can see is that I look forward to, and enjoy everything.Work, exercise, reading, doing yard work, fixing things around the house, playing guitar and drums. I seriously accomplish more before noon most days than I used to accomplish all day. Thanks to everyone for the support.
Congrats on 25 days Unger. It is amazing how much extra energy we can have when not battling the dreaded hangover. When I got sober I actually wanted to practice the rudiments for drumming that I was taught as a kid and as a result my playing improved. What a concept, eh?

Thanks JimE! I know exactly what you mean. I bought a practice pad to play rudiments while I'm on the road. I hadn't played in at least ten years and am playing every day now. I even caught on with a (occasionally) working band.
