Got this far with no Meds.

I am glad to say that I am now 42 days sober from alcohol.

I didn't have DT's. But I did deal with every other withdraw you can thing of. I had anxiety, panic attacks, trouble sleeping, sweats, foggy feeling, numbness, shakes, throwing up, loss of apatite. Etc Etc

Many times I wanted to give in and go to a hospital. Cause I knew there would be pills to make me feel better. But I knew that would only be quitting one drug and getting addicted to another.

I know everyone is different, but I'm so glad to be feeling better each day, without having to take any pills. I feel very lucky and happy to be clean and sober.

Very lucky.. There are thousands of others that did your approach and aren't alive to tell about it..

Great job on the sobriety though!

Even though i know better, sometimes i fell like just holing myself up and taking my chances. I hate all the hassles i have to deal with concerning doctors and my job.

I had the same things you had. I didnt go to the doc's and Im 31 days and going strong

If you mean by serious drinking, 22 years.

Man that is a long time. I'm only 24 so I can imagine how long 22 years is. Do what ever is safe for you. Life is so much better after getting away from alcohol. I wish you the best of luck.
